automation
For data center fabrics, we provide a level of automation that is useful for instantiating the network connectivity of VNFs as it follows its life cycle, ensuring that physical Provider networks, SR-IOV and Passthrough interconnects and ports are configured automatically.
WhiteSDN is based on the ONOS SDN Controller, and offers two integration options on its northbound API:
- WhiteCloud ML2 Plugin, implemented directly on OpenStack Neutron.
- WhiteNFV SDN Assist, which depends on the WhiteSDN external controller.
Both options are compatible with any switch vendor and model. To achieve this, WhiteSDN includes southbound plugins that cover any set of commands, SDKs and/or NETCONF/Yang configuration methods.
